Kick Butt Smoking Prevention Service

Live Well UK runs an innovative education service for young people in West London.

Called “Kick Butt,” the service aims to reduce the appeal and uptake of cigarettes and shisha by combining education on the dangers of smoking with a de-glamourising campaign which exposes to young people the underhand tactics of the tobacco industry.  All year 8 pupils in the schools in the Kick Butt catchment area attend a session and education packs and DVDs are available for teachers to use with other age groups. The Kick Butt team also attends youth club meetings and various community events.
